Hon Aisha Jumwa Katana is serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage in Kenya.

Prior to joining the Ministry, she served as Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action, Member of Parliament for Malindi Constituency in Kilifi County, Commissioner of the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC), Women Representative for Kilifi County from 2013 to 2017, and from 1997 to 2007 she served as a Councillor for Takaungu Ward, Kilifi County.

Hon. Jumwa holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Management from International Leadership University and an Executive Diploma in Governance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
