Mr. Joseph N. Busiega has extensive experience and knowledge in public sector management spanning over 38 years’ experience in positions out of which 34 years have been in the security and diplomatic sectors. He started his career in the Civil Service as a Trade Officer in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Because high leaning to professionalism, integrity and confidentiality Mr. Busiega served as Government Protective Security Officer to two Heads of State and as a Personal Assistant to two Director Generals at the National Intelligence Services (NIS).

His security sector service also extends to the Police Service as Officer Commanding Station (OCS), Base Commander in various stations and Head of Economic Intelligence - Nairobi Area.

In the Diplomatic field, he has served as First Secretary and Counsellor, Humanitarian at the Permanent Mission of Kenya at the United Nations in Geneva, and Counsellor/Minister at the Kenya Embassy in Seoul Korea.

He holds Masters Degrees in; International Relations, and International Security Studies; a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Public Administration; and is currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations.
